Getting to the Secretariat

The Secretariat is on the Mallawapitiya road, a short distance from the Kurunegala town limits. Coming from Kurunegala, follow the Puttalam road and turn at the Mallawapitiya junction; the office is on the right, set back behind a planted forecourt.
By bus
Buses running between Kurunegala and Wellawa stop at Mallawapitiya junction, a few minutes’ walk from the office.
Parking and access
There is parking in the forecourt. The public counters are at ground level and reachable without steps. If you need assistance on arrival, telephone ahead and the front desk will arrange it.
What to bring
Bring your National Identity Card for any matter requiring identification, and where a Grama Niladhari endorsement is needed, obtain it from your division officer first.
